More Blog Posts FLOOD In!
said... Perhaps I am too intellectual to do this kind of video at the moment, but I must say if you can sell a COLOUR, you can sell just about anything (and even nothing) when you can wrap it in a nice package.
I also read Paulie Sabol's blog post and the last paragraph says it all.
What else can I say? Marlon is not your elder with a walking stick. I think he just reversed his age :)

Thanks Nelson. Appreciate the comments. Marlon.

Thanks Paulie. Very cool stuff. Marlon

You have definitely struck a nerve somewhere!
The buzz around "The Red Factor" is getting bigger and bigger. Can't wait to find out what it is!

Brice, it's totally crazy, isn't it? The *))#* really hits the fan on launch day tomorrow! Marlon
Michael Worthington said... Marlon,
Sure, the video wasn't produced in a 100 million dollar studio or directed by a million dollar director, but I think any real marketer should be able to spot what's happening here.
Heck, you're giving away a million dollars worth of marketing education before you even release the product, and people want to bitch about that?I say, keep it up. The more promotion you do about "The Red Fator", the more free education I get!
Thanks for doing this Marlon.
You're still "Da Man"! Michael 10/16/2006 7:39 PM
Michael, appreciate the props and the insight. Yep. Some people got no freakin' clue. But it really helped when Reese fanned the flames. And Paul Myers is a master. And Jim gets his props. Marlon

Jupiter spot turns RED. Oprah goes RED!
Hey guys and gals.
In the past few weeks from what I understand a long term white spot on Jupiter turned RED.
No bull.
http://www.marlonsanders.com/blog/link.html
Also, I've heard Oprah and Bono are doing a big RED charity something or the other. Haven't had time to check it out but apparently it's a big charity deal. And I think if you buy red shirts at the Gap some of the money may go to charity...but don't quote me on that one.
I believe all the scoop is at: http://www.joinred.com
Crazy, eh?

P.S. Red rocks and red is back.

Hi Marlon,
I have bought several of your products in the past and they are great. You know exactly what you are doing and in my opinion you are one of the most knowledgable individucals in the business. There is so much crap being thrown at the walls on the internet.
You never produce crap.I am anxious to see what you are brining to the table next. The video is great.

Al, thanks for saying that. The value of information is a hard thing for people to differentiate. So comments like yours help people see that difference. -- Marlon

Hey Marlon,
The Red Factor video was to be honest with you kind of boring. But to get the word out about The Red Factor, it was brilliant. People will think of the Red Factor every time they see a Red shirt.
I know I'll think of the Red Factor whenever I see anything red.
Michael 10/15/2006 1:17 AM
Thanks Michael. I can understand differing feelings on the video. I guess my Texas roots skews my sense of humor a little! Thanks for your comments and noticing the value of the association. -- Marlon

Marlon, you just proved that buzz and excitement can be generated by human ENTHOUSIASM about nothing or about curiosity about something that's IN THE PIPELINE and coming thruuu!

Geoff, in the end, there's a LOT of value and substance. And most of the people who have followed me over the years know that. But I'm glad you're feelin' the buzz. Keep on watchin'. Oh, and the Gold Coast rocks! Loved it. -- Marlon

Hi MARLON
Just wanted to say, I VALUE Your Teachings. There is No Doubt You are Equal to the Best in the Internet Marketing Arena.
You put that punk in his place with the line about speaking at $3000 Seminars. He's obviously never met You in Person and witnessed Your Humor & Generosity.
I was in the Audience at the Carl Galletti Vegas event you mentioned. You literally had Me up out of my seat and in the Conga Line Singing "Nothing So Funny as Making Lots of Money"
I still remember that to this day.Success is the Best Revenge to the critics out there.
And what I've Learned from You has Allowed Me to Live a Pretty Good Life. For that MARLON, Sir I Salute You.
BILL in Bangkok 10/15/2006 9:19 AM
Thanks Bill. That means a great deal to me for you to say that. I MISS Bangkok. The land of smiles. What a great place. -- Marlon

Marlon writes: "I was getting paid up to 10 g's to write sales letters for people like Walter Hailey, who was a major contributing force to what I now call The Red Factor.
"Marlon, I fear not everyone knows the now dead Billionaire Walter Hailey. Or his concept of NEER or the Eagle academy for super achievers.Well, being a "seminar" guy I know him.
Let me say this, I sure hope you got a percentage along with the ten-large :)For those who don't know, Walter Haley is a top selling insurance guy. But he didn't start that way.
No he had to be rejected by a "Pig Farmer" to whom he tried to sell insurance. It was based on that sense of failure and rejection he built a system to only make offers to people who say, "Yes."
Now, I hope more than ever I "win" and get My Red Factor -- as a gift because if there's lessons from Haley, I want them.
Warmly,
Paulie Sabol 10/15/2006 11:24 AM
Paulie, thank you for making that point. And yes, I wish everyone would have had the opportunity to meet Walter and hear him speak. He was maybe the most dynamic person I ever met in my life. And his marketing method worked like crazy. -- Marlon

Camtasia video or PDF "nuts n bots" coming later today
-- PLUS my response to the criticisms
-- And PROOF of current traffic Hi guys and gals,
Later today I'll publish either a camtasia video or PDF that calms down some of the controversy and explains what all the BUZZ is about.
Whew! This is quite a RIDE. Holy smokes. Hold on boys and girls. It isn't for the faint of heart.
I'm also gonna answer the people who just SLAMMED the video and trashed out VblogSecrets because I didn't use "pro lighting" or have pro whatever. I can see their point. But even if the video WASN'T funny, it has NOTHING whatsoever to do with the vblogging process.
And I'll PROVE that to you in a later post.
The gist of "The Red Factor" is this:
You either BUY OPPORTUNITIES from other people who know who to find, create, package and sell them or you learn how to CREATE YOUR OWN on demand -- anytime, anyplace, in any market.
The problems with buying opportunities vs. creating your own are as follows:
1. Opporrtunity sellers have a vested interest in lying or exagerrating the results of whatever "opportunity-in-a-box" they've assembled for you.
2. By the time they sell it to a zillion people, whatever it is likely doesn't work nearly as well as it did in the lead success story.
3. It's all about the law of supply and demand.
4. Once you know how, it is NOT hard to find your OWN opportunities. I can teach you one or two methods in like 5 minutes and you WILL come up with some great opportunities after just that little bit of education.
5. Even if you wanna buy opportunities from others, they aren't cheap. And if you can quicker, faster, easier do it on your own...then why not?
After you get the opportunity, you have to pack it up as an advantage. Having the advantage means you do NOT have to be afraid or scared of competitors in niches or avoid the BIG niches that make the money money.
The people I personally know making the most money are also in highly competitive niches. But you do NOT have to be scared of that if you have "The Red Factor" in your possession.
To anyone who thinks I'm full of it, I refer you to the post below that has only PART of my track record in it.
And to those who say, "Well, you should be able to do this in a non-Internet marketing business" I say: What do you THINK I was doing BEFORE Internet marketing?
I was getting paid up to 10 g's to write sales letters for people like Walter Hailey, who was a major contributing force to what I now call "The Red Factor."
I did my FIRST speaking gig talking about marketing on AOL before the WWW existed, as I recall. And yes, the legendary E. Joseph Cossman also spoke on that same cruise along with Ted Nicholas. Ted and I got in trouble 'cause we kept coming up with headlines during the seminar and cracking ourselves up.
I should also remind you that I've succeeded and thrived in this business when most others have dried up and blown away. Success over the long term means "The Red Factor" DOES work.
How many HIT PRODUCTS do I need before people realize, "Hey, the dude knows what he's talking about."
Let's try Amazing Formula, Gimme My Money Now, Push Button Letters, Marketing Dashboard, Action Grid, Marketing Diary, Your Own Products -- and more.
I'll also remind people I've STILL spoken at more seminars than I believe anyone in this marketplace. That would be 120+.
And to all the "opportunity-in-a-box" sellers, I've got no problem with them doin' what they do. I'm just saying that you need to either find out how to create your own opportunities on demand and/or do that and JOIN the opportunity sellers.
But one thing ALL opportunity sellers have in common regardless of the opportunity-in-a-box they're selling you -- THEY are likely making the VAST amount of their money selling YOU A PRODUCT.
That's why in spite of all the b.s. creating and selling your OWN products rocks. Or even a service. I got started selling the service of copywriting. My dad got started fixing TV's for free.
I was a magician doing PAID birthday parties in the 7th grade. I got started doing them for free then too.
Anyway, put the "power of red" on your side by staying tuned in.
Red rocks,
Marlon

Red Factor Traffic Soars Off Chart!
Hi,
You can post your COMMENTS on the video below this post or the one that follows it. Either way. Bricks or bouquets are welcome. Onions or orchids.
All day today "The Red Factor" traffic has gone bizerk! CRAZY! This happened when I sent the last email out also.
Here's a screen cap from 12:50 p.m. CST. http://www.marlonsanders.com/traffic.gif
Each entry there in yellow is a person on our site. You can see the minutes they've been ON the site.
The red box at the bottom right shows that you have to scroll DOWN the page to even see everyone on the site. Alexa isn't reflecting the traffic today yet but it will probably tomorrow. The blog I think was up to 8,000 or so on Alexa yesterday.
UPDATE: At 4:19 p.m. the traffic is still going strong. And it has been this way since 7:30 a.m. or so CST. There's a small controversy from a Paul Myers post over on the Warriors forum. I don't see anything on Ablake yet. You guys and gals who loved the video, post it. Spread the word. Blogs too.
LOTS of people wanna know what the Red Factor IS, why they should care, what it will do for them, what the hype is about, is it over-hyped and so forth. In a post on down in the blog, I talk about what The Red Factor is and isn't. Be sure to read that post.
If you want a laugh, listen to the audio. It's mostly entertainment but it gives a little background as we were driving to Austin to do the video shoot.
The anti-Red Factor clan are already gearing up with a line of "Well, what's the Red Factor? It's just hype. Blah, blah, blah." They're trying to discount the impact of it and all. They're making fun of the video and stuff. They won't email it to their list unless HELL freezes over.
Or this one, "Oh, that Marlon. He's crazy. He's a character." They'll say, "It's dangerous." And they're right. It IS dangerous -- TO THEM! Here's some questions for you that will reveal why. Feel free to post your answers in the blog if you want.
Question: Do you know how to spot opportunity in ANY niche or target market? Do you feel confident in your ability to find or create clear opportunities on demand?
Question: If people KNEW how to quickly and easily create the own opportunities, do you think they would spend so much money buying "opportunities-in-a-box" where someone else claims to have done the thinking for them?
Question: In light of the Law of Supply and Demand, what do you think happens when someone floods the market with a "canned opportunity?"
Question: Do you think it's STUPID to play a game in which you have no advantage, the deck is stacked against you and everyone else has a head start? Or do you think that's a GOOD plan?
The Red Factor tells people the truth: To NEVER play a game where the odds are stacked against you. To NEVER play a game where you don't have a decisive advantage. Sun Tzu said it. Clausewitz said it.
Question: How can you win a game where there is no clear opportunity and you have no advantage over other players?
The Red Factors says that you can create your own business opportunities at will -- and shows EXACTLY where and how to find limitless opportunities -- anytime, anywhere in virtually ANY market, country or city.
Let's hear your comments.

Hi, People have been asking what the advantages are that "The Red Factor" (http://www.myredfactor.com) gives you. Here are the 5 main advantages: Advantage one: Increased performance and results in your business You'll be able to sort through the noise, the smoke, the mirrors. Get to the heart of things and put your ENERGY and focus THERE. That increases your performance and your results. That puts more in your bank account at the end of the day. Advantage two: Decreased costs When you know what to focus on and where the "leverage" is, you can focus on the 5% that controls the 20% that produces 80% of the results. Advantage four: Save your time When you have The Red Factor, you'll be totally crystal on what to focus on and what NOT to focus on. Yet, The Red Factor is NOT about a plattitude like "strategy and tactics." It's a specific strategy that is also global in nature. That is why I call I the factor behind all factors. Advantage five: Get more results while working less You can probably cut out a lot of activities when you know what to focus on, what your BIG PICTURE is and how what you're doing today fits in. What "The Red Factor" Will Do For You?What real ADVANTAGE Will It Give You ThatYou Don't Have Right Now? Once you are in possession of The Red Factor, you will discover: * How Ben Feldman used The Red Factor to become the world's greatest sales person as listed by the Guiness Book of World Records. Specifically what he did and how he did it. * The specific application of The Red Factor that allowed Joe Girard to become the greatest car sales person in the world. * How a taxi cab driver used "The Factor" to create an amazing stream of high-profit calls that made other drivers gnash their teeth in envy. * How Donnie used "The Factor" to sell millions and buy his 20,000 sq. foot dream home. The shocking revelation I had when he took me on a tour of his 4-story office building. * The one thing I've never revealed about how Walter sold his billion using "The Factor." The step-by-step plan he followed. * How my dad used a STICK SIMPLE application of "The Factor" to control and dominate the TV repair market in Oklahoma City until he retired. * The secret story Mark Joyner told me behind doors about the REAL SECRET that allowed him to break through to a massive level of sales. I've never heard this story shared anywhere before. * The amazing story of when I spoke with E. Joseph Cossman on a marketing cruise. And how he built a legendary business on a STICK SIMPLE application of THE FACTOR. * TWELVE very specific APPLICATIONS of THE FACTOR you've likely never heard or read before. And certainly never understood with this sort of clarity. * The STICK SIMPLE way W. Clement Stone used The Factor to build a BILLION DOLLAR insurance company and become a business legend. Really, it doesn't get any simpler, nor more profound than this. * How Robert Collier made selling millions of items via direct response STICK SIMPLE using "The Factor." * Specific quotes from Sun Tzu and Clausewitz that support The Red Factor as being the key to success, even in the tragedy known as war.

10 Facts You Should Know That Make"The Red Factor" Completely Out Of The Box! 1. It's evergreen -- Howard Hughes made his wealth with it. So did Joe Kennedy, father of ex U.S. President John F. Kennedy. All the great entrepreneurs has used The Red Factor. Now, logically, I'd call it the GREEN FACTOR. 'Cause it's evergreen. But see, RED is out of the BOX. It's off the HOOK!
Green just doesn't cut it. Green just bores me to death. Red rocks. I was gonna call it "The Blue Factor" after the "Blue Marlin" fish. And wear a blue shirt. But I couldn't bring myself to do it. Let's face it. In the sea of sameness, only one color stands out head and shoulders above the rest -- RED! And you can freakin' quote me on that.
All the others? They just WISH they were red. But in their heart, they know they ain't. They ain't red. They ain't never gonna be red. You know why? 'Cause they ain't got the GUTS. Do you wanna be red? Or do you wanna be like everybody else?
2. It's NOT some airy fairy metaphysical concept. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's something you DO. It's an over-riding strategy of how you conduct your business and make money. See, the single most important thing in ANY business is the model or the strategy.
3. It's something that once you learn it will be blindingly obvious. And yet, it will change forever how you do things. How you think about your business. What activities you do. And what you don't do.
4. It's NOT just a way to "think" about business, although it is that. And you'll never think about the making of money the same again. It's about what you DO. And you can begin using it IMMEDIATELY without delay.
5. It has nothing to do with NLP, positive thinking, hypnosis, metaphysics or the like. Although those things can certainly help you take the ACTION you need to take to use the principle.
6. The principle is NOT "taking action" or "the MasterMind" or any of those things. They're great. But this is actually a marketing ACTION. Really, not even just marketing. It's more like the blueprint of a business.
7. The Red Factor works for every type of business I know of. I can't think of ANY it won't work for. If you're doin' Adsense, you're doin' SEO, you're doin' whatever. Yeah, it applies to YOU bud. Don't matter what. It applies. You don't need to ask. I'll say it again. IT APPLIES.
8. THE FACTOR is NOT just a platitude or "good idea." It's based on specific actions and steps gleaned from some of the greatest business people and success stories in the world, both online and offline. It contains specific methods and tactics, not just a strategy. Although the really important part is the strategy.
9. The Factor is something you DO. It is NOT just a philoshophy, although you could certainly build one based on it. But in and of itself, it's a strategy and something you DO.
10. The Red Factor is NOT something vague like "stand out" or "be bold." It's a specific strategy with even more specific applications to virtually any and every endeavor you will attempt in business.

Did you get my latest emails?
Hi.
Marlon here.
Here are the HTML emails I sent over the last week. Just in case you didn't receive em. The sneak preview of the Design Dashboard can be seen here.
The much anticipated launch of the Design Dashboard will be taking place in the near future. But first and foremost, what I've got to share with you is the ONE factor behind ALL success in sales, marketing and business... The Red Factor. And it will be revealed VERY soon. Keep your eyes peeled.
You may have not received this one if you have trouble getting html emails. It went out on FRIDAY:

Here is the email that went out with the picture: Date: Friday October 6th, 2006 From: Marlon Sanders Hi, Marlon here. I had a conversation the other day with Mark Joyner, who told me the story of his BIG BREAKTHROUGH in marketing. As he went on to explain the one thing he did that really allowed him to bust out and succeed on a really large scale, it suddenly HIT ME! There is ONE FACTOR behind ALL success in sales, marketing and business. I call it the "Red Factor" and it's the one thing that stands behind many successful people. In the old days, E. Joseph Cossman used it with power and flair like no other. My mentor, Lew Williams also used "The Red Factor" to sell millions of items. Lew's mentor was the legendary copywriter Thomas Hall. Thomas used "The Red Factor" too. Before Thomas Hall, there was Robert Collier? Yep. He also used it. And then, of course, there is the one and only Gary Halbert. You guessed it. Gary used the "Red Factor" in his amazing "coat-of-arms" letter that is perhaps the most mailed letter of all time. Harvey Brody used it with brilliance and Howard Hughes made his wealth with it. And soon you'll be able to use it too. Best Wishes, Marlon Sanders
Here is the FIRST email in the series.
